Lenard Sweet in his book by this title suggests that, like Starbuck's Coffee Shop philosophy, our worship ought to have EPIC qualities. Epic is an acronym for the following
Experiential - worship is an experience of the divine presence
Participatory - passivity in worship is passe
Image rich - art, ambiance, symbols etc.
Connecting - worship is horizontally and vertically relational

This is the place we can put our ideas and thoughts about a vision for worship at Langley Immanuel Christian Reformed Church. We hope that this will become our workspace for communication on this issue. Blog away!
